Just stopped by here for lunch and had a great experience. We had the bacon jam burger with fries & 12 wings (half medium & half lemon pepper). Everything was out of this world! If only we knew this place existed 5 years ago, we would've already been regulars! Also, Wellington was a very friendly & insightful employee who deserves a promotion! We will definitely be back soon!

We made a special trip to Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill just for the burgers – and it was 100% worth it! I’m from Ukraine, and honestly, it’s hard to find food in America that truly matches my taste. But this place pleasantly surprised me! The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, with a soft bun and flavorful fries – pure delight. And the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming! A special highlight was meeting the wonderful owner, who made the experience even better. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale and craving a real, delicious burger, I highly recommend stopping by Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill!

Great, friendly service and the food is delicious! The brie burger with sweet potatoes made perfectly. Must try the desserts. The Rocky road, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies oh so good . We are definitely coming back! Yep went back and it was so good again and great service!

Great burger and sweet potato fries in a casual atmosphere with friendly staff to top it off! I had the chimichurro burger, and my wife enjoyed the Louisiana cajun burger. Both were very good.

Closer to 4.75 or 4.5. My wife summed the customer service experience well, 'this has been pleasant, what a wonderful customer service experience '. There are several great looking choices on the menu. Our food tasted delicious, was prepared to our liking, and had a perfect temperature. The food eats like a moderately upscale restaurant, but the interior and its aura feel like a cheap diner. After placing your order at the counter, you are served [extremely well], like at a sit down, which makes having to place the order at the counter confusing.

As advertised we were greeted by owner. Had a nice conversation. I don’t do chicken wings often. But chicken wings here with barbecue sauce were delicious. Well seasoned and steaming hot. We had a soup, variety of burgers and ribs. Came back next day for lunch. Great establishment.

Outstanding! Everything is homemade. We had 2 burgers and one Fried Chicken Sandwich. Fries and homemade coleslaw. Everything was delicious. The owners are lovely and the service was very sweet as well.

They are well known by the burgers but the ribs are amazing too. Wellington’ service was far and beyond. Cookies looked great and tasted better.
